All interested young ladies in Renfrew County are invited to compete for the title of Queen of the Furrow at our Plowing Match.

Contestants should be a minimum of 16 years of age and not reached their 25th birthday by December 31st of the current year.

To enter the Ontario Queen of the Furrow competition, contestants must have a valid driver's license, a safe driving record and must abide by the graduated license requirements.  At the time of the IPM, the contestants license must be at the G2 or G level or higher. (This is because the winner of the Ontario Queen of the Furrow competition has the use of a new car during her term.)

The selection of our Queen is based on the following:

One of the highlights of the match is the selection of our Queen of the Furrow.
The Queen of the Furrow for 2011-2012 is Charlotte McKay.  As our Queen, Charlotte will attend functions in our county as well as the International Plowing Match and the annual Ontario Plowmen's Association General Meeting and banquet.  Charlotte will do an excellent job of representing Renfrew County!
